Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Kebbi State governor Nasir Idris has vowed to deliver, just as he declared that opposition threats will not stop him and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from clinching the positions of president and governor in 2027.
Idris made the declaration when he received a delegation from the Argungu emirate, led by the emir, Sama’ila Muhammed Mera, at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
He told the gathering that though there were threats from the opposition here and there, all their actions would not prevent both me and President Tinubu from reclinching our present seats as President of Nigeria and governor of Kebbi State in 2027.
“For my reasons, we are doing our best to restore the Lost glory of the country by the President and Kebbi State by my humble self, and we will never stop,” Governor Idris said.
He promised to provide dividends of democracy to all parts of the state, Irrespective of religious and tribal differences.
He also acknowledged the support and cooperation of the people of Argungu emirate with the government at all times.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and the emir of Argungu, Sama’ila Muhammed Mera, told the governor that they were in the Government House to express their appreciation for the tremendous projects executed by his administration within two years, including the Argungu emirate.
