Air Peace, a Nigerian carrier, has announced that several of its flights will experience delays following a heavy downpour in Lagos on Monday morning.
In a statement signed by the airline’s spokesperson, Osifo-Whiskey Efe, passengers were urged to remain patient as the company works to minimize the disruption across its route network.
“Due to the heavy downpour of rain in Lagos this morning, some flights across our operating networks will be delayed,” the statement read.
While noting that weather-related issues are beyond the airline’s control, the company emphasized that passenger safety remains its foremost concern.
“Safety is not just a priority but a core commitment at Air Peace. We appeal for your understanding as we manage the situation and ensure that all passengers reach their destinations safely. We remain dedicated to upholding the highest safety standards for both passengers and crew,” the statement added.
