Former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, is among four managers on Manchester United’s shortlist to replace Ruben Amorim should the Red Devils sack the Portuguese.
As reported by TouchlineX, the four managers are Pochettino, Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Gareth Southgate.
Amorim is under serious pressure at Old Trafford after only 10 months in charge of the Premier League club.
Although Man United remain supportive of Amorim, the Red Devils’ hierarchy could be forced to act if results don’t improve.
Man United would have to pay Amorim off to vacate his role.
Amorim’s current contract with United expires in the summer of 2027.
The 40-year-old had joined the Premier League club in November 2024.
United have endured their worst start to a season in 33 years, after picking up just four points from four games under Amorim’s guidance.
