Today, we celebrate a distinguished son of Ibadanland, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, Chairman/CEO of Solutions FM and President of the Jericho Businessmen’s Club, as he marks his birthday.
Oloye Adegboyega is a consummate patriot and an exceptionally amiable gentleman whose love for Ibadan is deep, genuine, and consistently demonstrated through action. He believes passionately in Ibadan and continually invests his resources, time, and influence in initiatives that promote the growth, culture, and prestige of our great city.
During my tenure as the two-time Chairman of the Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee (2022 and 2024), he stood out as a strong pillar of support and one of the major sponsors of the annual festivals. He was always willing and ready to promote and support any initiative in the interest of Ibadanland.
His impressive contributions toward the commissioning of the Olubadan Palace are highly commendable. More recently, as Co-Chairman of the Olubadan Coronation Reception Committee, his personal donation—aimed at making the coronation reception memorable and historic—was truly remarkable.
Oloye Adegboyega is a CCII Distinguished Merit Awardee and, in 2024, a recipient of the Most Distinguished Ibadan Indigene Award, honours that reflect his unwavering commitment to service and community development.
As the Oota Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland, it is my fervent prayer that Almighty God (Allah) continues to bless him abundantly in all capacities.
I wish Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke a life of good health, long years, massive wellness, joy, and enduring happiness.
