
Chief Saheed Babatunde Adeyemo, the Mogaji of Jatao Compound in Oje Ibadan has paid emotional tribute to his late parents Alhaji Asimiyu Alamu Adeyemo and Alhaja Afusat Amoke Adeyemo who he described as loving parents who were very instrumental to his success and the bedrock of everything he has achieved in life, he also built a quadplex in their name and vowed to donate all rent accrued to charity and helping the less privileged in the society.
Chief Sanjay Adeyemo revealed the four-flat building, ‘Alamu Amoke Villa’, located at Gbadua Area, Ojurin Kute on Sunday after the prayer session led by Islam clerics, who took their time to pray fervently to the Almighty Allah to grant late Alhaji Alamu and Alhaja Amoke Adeyemo forgiveness of sins, divine grace and mercy to be worthy beneficiaries of eternal life in Aljanah Firdaous.
Mogaji Jatao Compound in his words described his parents’ invaluable contributions to his life, right from his young age through his academics and moral upbringing to what he has achieved today as a man. He added that they however did not live long to reap the fruit of their labour, so they deserve to be remembered and honored for their efforts.
“I built this house, Alamu Amoke Villa, in honour of my loving parents, Alhaji Asimiyu Alamu Adeyemo and Alhaja Afusat Amoke Adeyemo who were the major backbone and pillars to my success in life, their love and moral support for me was the driving force that propelled me to life success and career path. I pray that the Almighty Allah in his infinite mercies grant them divine forgiveness for all their shortcomings and open the doors of Aljanah for them.” Chief Sanjay Adeyemo stated.
“I also want to add that Alamu-Amoke Villa will be completely dedicated to giving alms and charity donations to the less privileged in the society in my late parent names. My father is Alamu, while my mother is Amoke and so all the proceeds and divine rewards, Insha Allah, be channeled to them as their good deeds and devotion to Allah (SWT).” Mogaji Jatao said
According to Chief Adeyemo Sanjay the rent will be directed to charity services as long as the house continues to stand and this will also serve as a legacy to the entire family so that others can also emulate the practice. He confirmed that he already built a mosque in their names but also decided to use this as a yearly support and donation to constantly contribute to the less privileged in the society also in their names.
