Huawei Digital Power presented its latest FusionSolar Smart PV+ESS solutions during Nigeria Energy Week 2024 in Lagos, under the theme “Lighting Up A Greener Nigeria.” The event highlighted Huawei’s advanced solar technologies, focusing on its global achievements and solutions for utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and residential sectors.
At the center of the showcase was Huawei’s FusionSolar SUN2000-MAP0 series, a three-phase inverter renowned for its impressive efficiency of over 98.4%, reliability, and safety features, including Intelligent Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) and Lightning Protection. The MAP0 inverter also supports overload capabilities, ensuring consistent power delivery even during high appliance usage, eliminating concerns over safety or equipment compromise.
The Smart Module Controller enhances solar energy efficiency by optimizing each panel independently, allowing homeowners to install more panels on their rooftops and increase green energy output by up to 30%. The controller’s rapid shutdown (RSD) feature offers added safety by instantly switching off the inverter during emergencies, reducing risks on high-voltage rooftops.
Huawei also showcased its LUNA2000 S0 residential energy storage system, which offers a scalable, modular design that optimizes battery performance. By independently managing each battery module, the system ensures maximum energy output, extending the lifespan of battery packs and achieving over 10% increased energy yield throughout its lifecycle. This innovation supports the broader vision of a zero-carbon household, setting a new benchmark for residential energy systems in Nigeria and beyond.
The FusionSolar app complements these solutions, enabling real-time monitoring of solar panel performance and reducing installation and maintenance costs.
