APC’s Daje Wins Niger Assembly By-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Matthew Dogara Daje as the winner of the by-election conducted for Munya State Constituency on Saturday.

Daje got 12,556 votes to defeat his closest rival, Sabo Sunday Adabyinlo of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who recorded 5, 646 votes.

According to the official INEC results, APC won in 10 wards while the opposition PDP won in one ward.
