
The Asiwaju Iyalode of Awotan Land, Otun Iyalode of Idi-Oro Elewa, Adetokun, Ologuneru, and Asiwaju Oloja of Ibadanland, Chief (Mrs.) Temitope Afolake Awotunde (Nee Fasola) has extended her warmest congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Chief Mrs. Awotunde described the enthronement of Baba Ladoja as a moment of pride and joy for every true son and daughter of Ibadan, noting that his leadership qualities, wisdom, and years of service to Nigeria stand as a testament to the greatness he will bring to the revered throne of the Olubadan. She emphasized that his coronation is not just a blessing to Ibadan, but also to Yorubaland and the nation at large.
She further commended the legacy of peace and unity that the new Olubadan represents, expressing confidence that his reign will usher in a new era of progress, development, and cultural preservation in Ibadanland. According to her, the people of Ibadan are fortunate to have a monarch who understands governance, community development, and the value of heritage.
Chief Mrs. Awotunde prayed for long life, sound health, and divine wisdom for the new Olubadan, while calling on indigenes and residents of Ibadanland to give their full support and loyalty to His Imperial Majesty.
She affirmed that with the collective effort of the people and the guidance of the throne, Ibadanland is destined for greater heights under the reign of Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
