THE BUREAU NEWSPAPER reports that four senators from two different states on Wednesday officially announced their resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmakers from Akwa Ibom and Osub States announced their resignation from the party on the floor of the plenary of the Nigerian Senate.
According to the lawmakers, they dumped the PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The senators are:
1. Senator Etim Aniekan Bassey (Akwa Ibom North East)
2. Senator Sampson Ekong Akpan (Akwa Ibom South)
3. Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi (Osun East)
4. Senator Olubiyi Oluwole Fadeyi (Osun Central)
