Mikel Arteta has released Arsenal’s Premier League squad for the 2025-26 season.
This is following the shutting down of the summer transfer window.
Arteta’s list contains about 21 senior players and an additional list reserved for U21 players and scholars, regardless of nationality.
The Spaniard included at least nine Nigerian names in his squad for the season.
These are players who are eligible to play for Nigeria, as well as other countries.
The list cited on the Gunners website includes:
Khari Ranson
Josh Nichols
Cam’ron Ismail
Josh Ogunnaike
Samuel Onyekachukwu
Ethan Nwaneri
Ife Ibrahim
Andre Harriman-Annous and Daniel Oyetunde.
These players are products of Arsenal’s Hale End Academy.
The likes of Oyetunde, Ranson, Nichols, Ismail, Nwaneri and Harriman-Annous are already on professional contracts,
Nwaneri, Nichols and Harriman-Annous have already been called up for Premier League matches.
