British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has singled out five Arsenal players for special praise following the Gunners’ Premier League 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
DAILY POST reports that a brace from Martín Zubimendi and a goal from Viktor Gyokeres gave Mikel Arteta’s side all three points against the visitors at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal supporter, hailed Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Martín Zubimendi and Cristhian Mosquera for their “superb” performances against Nottingham Forest.
Recall that Madueke, Gyokeres, Eze, Zubimendi and Mosquera all joined Arsenal during the summer transfer window.
“Brilliant performance by an exhilarating Arsenal… fuelled by new signings Madueke, Gyokeres, Eze, Zubimendi and Mosquera,” Morgan wrote on X after the game.
“All of them were superb. We’re playing with pace, flair and power again.. so great to watch. Loved it.”
The win against Nottingham means Arsenal are now on top of the Premier League table with 9 points from four games.
The Gunners will drop if Liverpool beat Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
