German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock have raised questions about whether the cargo plane crash near Vilnius, Lithuania, on Monday was the result of hybrid warfare. The DHL-operated Boeing 737, en route from Leipzig, Germany, skidded and hit a residential area.
One crew member was killed, but sabotage evidence has not been confirmed. Lithuanian authorities and US investigators, including Boeing representatives, are probing the incident.
Baerbock highlighted Russia’s pattern of destabilizing actions, while Lithuanian officials stress no sabotage evidence has been found so far.
