Governor Ododo Consoles APC National Chairman Over Mother’s Demise

Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, over the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Goshwe Yilwatda.

In a condolence letter signed by the governor, Ododo described the passing away of Mama Lydia as “a painful loss,” noting that she lived a life defined by faith, love, and selfless service to God and humanity.

The governor stated that Mama Lydia’s values instilled in her children were evident in Yilwatda’s remarkable contributions to the APC and to the nation at large.

“Mama Lydia’s peaceful spirit and enduring legacy will remain a source of strength and inspiration, not only to her family but to all who were touched by her life,” Ododo wrote.

He assured the APC National chairman of his prayers and support, while asking God to grant him and his family the fortitude to bear the loss and to grant the soul of Mama Lydia eternal rest.
