The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Farm Inputs, Hon. Honorius Arome, has extended warm birthday wishes to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the immediate past governor of Kogi State, describing him as “a visionary leader and a trailblazer whose legacy continues to shape the political landscape of Kogi State.”
In a goodwill message made available to The Bureau Newspaper, Hon. Arome lauded the former governor for his courage, youth empowerment drive, and transformational leadership, which, according to him, repositioned Kogi as a beacon of unity and development during his time in office.
“Today, we celebrate a man whose name is forever etched in the history of Kogi State for his bold decisions and unwavering commitment to good governance. Alhaji Yahaya Bello remains an icon of youthful leadership, equity, and purposeful governance,” Arome stated.
He further acknowledged Bello’s role in mentoring a new generation of political leaders, including the current Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose administration is steadily building on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
“His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello is not just a former governor; he is a father figure and pathfinder. The political stability we enjoy today in Kogi is largely due to his bold reforms and people-oriented governance,” Arome added.
Hon. Arome also prayed for continued strength, protection, and divine wisdom for the former governor, wishing him greater exploits in the years ahead.
“Happy Birthday, GYB. May your days be long, your influence stronger, and your legacy brighter,” the statement concluded.
Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who served as governor from 2016 to 2024, is widely regarded as one of the youngest and most audacious leaders in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic. His tenure was marked by infrastructural renewal, security reforms, and inclusive governance.
