Nigeria’s oldest Catholic priest, Thomas Oleghe, has passed away at the age of 104.
His passing was announced by Bishop Gabriel Dunia of the Auchi Diocese, who described Oleghe’s death as a celebration of a life well-lived .
Oleghe was born on February 6, 1920, and retired about three years ago as a priest at the local Catholic Church in Fugar .
His funeral is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
