Niger Tornadoes head coach, Majin Mohammed, has praised his team’s 1-0 win over Bayelsa United at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Sunday.
Mohammed credited the large crowd for their motivation throughout the encounter.
The win came on the back of a well-organized defensive effort, with the Tornadoes’ players showing discipline and determination throughout the game.
Ismaila Sarki netted the only goal of the game.
“I want to appreciate everyone here for the massive turn out and the support we got here this evening, I think that is the motivating factors that ginger the boys,” Mohammed reacted after the game.
Niger Tornadoes moved up to sixth position on the NPFL table with six points.
