Real Madrid’s team coach was involved in a motorway collision on the M40 in Warwickshire on Thursday, following the club’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield. No players were onboard, and authorities confirmed there were no serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 1:15 pm between junctions 16 (Hockley Heath) and 15 (Warwick) and involved a lorry, a car, and the Real Madrid coach. Emergency services were called to the scene, and traffic delays were reported in the area. Images of the damaged coach stranded on the side of the road surfaced shortly after the collision.
Real Madrid’s players, including Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé, had already returned to Spain by plane following the match. The coach was carrying two drivers and two club staff members when the accident happened.
Warwickshire Police issued a statement confirming their response to the incident and reminding drivers that capturing photos or videos while operating a vehicle is illegal.
The club has not yet issued an official statement regarding the accident, but the situation has been resolved without any serious consequences.
