Tinubu Will Meet ASUU’s Demands – Yoruba Youths

The Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association (YYSA) has expressed concern over the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ (ASUU) protest over unpaid salaries and unfulfilled agreements, urging them to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Apparently reacting to the union’s peaceful administration on Tuesday, the association’s president, Comrade Olalekan Hammed, said the President Bola Tinubu-led administration had handled related affairs better than the previous government.

“Gone are the days when ASUU would be on strike for five or six months, but since President Tinubu assumed office more than two years ago, students have never experienced two months consecutive stay at home in the name of FG/ASUU incongruity.

“Regarding today’s strike, I assure you that the president will meet their demands very soon.

“And, rest assured, no industrial action can take place in Nigeria till the end of Tinubu’s administration.

“He’s the most competent president Nigeria has ever had.
