The world’s tallest and shortest women, Rumeysa Gelgi and Jyoti Amge, met for the first time at the Savoy Hotel in London.
The meeting was organized to celebrate the 20th annual Guinness World Records Day . The two women had a lot in common, including their love for fashion and self-care, despite their height difference of 152.36 cm (five feet).
They enjoyed traditional English tea and pastries together and talked about their life experiences and hobbies.
Rumeysa, who stands at 215.16 cm (7 ft 0.7 in), and Jyoti, who measures 62.8 cm (2 ft 0.7 in), became fast friends and were delighted to have met each other.
They were also presented with special certificates by Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday, acknowledging their status as Guinness World Records ICONS.
